Laura Anderson has worked for JPMorgan Chase & Co. for the past 18 years.
She currently serves as managing director and head of multinational sales in J.P. Morgan’s Merchant Services Division. She has previously served as chief of staff to the Midwest chairman, senior banker in J.P. Morgan Private Bank, and director of payments strategy.
An active civic leader in Chicago, Anderson serves on the Boards of Directors of the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, MATTER Chicago, and the Wood Family Foundation. She is an advisory board member of Chicago Sister Cities International and Chicago NEXT, and is a founder of the President’s Leadership Council of the Field Museum, and the President’s Council of Shedd Aquarium.
Anderson’s leadership at Georgetown began as she was a member of the NSO Staff and chaired the senior auction as a member of the Senior Class Committee. As an alumni volunteer, she co-chaired her 5th reunion, served as leader of her 10th and 15th year reunions, and served on the Club Boards of New York City, Washington D.C. (co-president), San Francisco (president) and Chicago. Anderson has served more than three terms as a member of the Board of Governors, and has been instrumental to the success of two John Carroll Awards Weekends held in Chicago, serving as co-chair in 2012.
She and her husband, Matt (MBA’97) live in Chicago with their daughter, Ellen.
